Welcome!

Hi there, and welcome to our blog!  Over the coming weeks (and months, and years), we’ll be posting articles here about things that matter deeply to our clients:  observations on critical opportunities and pitfalls for early stage ventures, musings on the challenges that entrepreneurs and creatives face when balancing life and work, and stories about people whose success has transformed their lives and the communities around them.  We hope you’ll enjoy and share them widely.

Blogs written by professionals can be a great resource, but use them with caution and rely on them at your own risk.  That goes for our blog, too:  when it comes to the law, one size never fits all, and things like complex contracts, litigation, tax strategies are definitely not DIY affairs.  While we hope what we have to say here will get you thinking about important and inspiring things with respect to your business, you should always, always consult a lawyer that you know and trust with your affairs.  If that’s us, great!  If not, that’s totally fine: the important thing is that you seek out and receive the expert advice you need.  That may sound self-serving and used-car-salesman-like, but I assure you, it’s not.  So many of our clients come to us with expensive problems that could have been avoided with a bit of consultation and planning at the outset.

We hope you’ll stay tuned for more…be sure to follow us on twitter for the latest updates, and if you like what you see here, please be sure to spread the word!
